Overview

As part of the IMLS Museum Studies Internship, I conducted archival research related to the museum's current exhibition, 24 anos de donaciones al museo. I selected and compared two art pieces: Bop Blues (1988) by Lorenzo Homar and Carteles 1970 - 2013 (2018) by Luis Abrham Ortiz. With the information collected, I developed educational content for the museum's social media. The internship culminated in a public presentation where I shared my research and findings with a broader audience.

Alongside the practical experience, I completed coursework in museum studies, exploring museum history, museological planning, collections management, and the role of museums in cultural heritage preservation.
