Experience
February - May 2026
During my internship at the Museum of Art of Bayamon, I collaborated with the museum's educational department, supporting the museum's public programming and community-centered initiatives. I assisted in the development of educational activities and crafted and offered workshops that strengthened the relationship between the museum and its surrounding community.
One workshop invited visitors to engage in free drawing activities within the galleries, fostering observation, personal interpretation, and meaningful interaction with artworks on view. A second workshop, designed for older adults, focused on creating flowers from recycled materials, combining artistic expression with conversations about sustainability, reuse, and environmental awareness.
